Late Valentine's

So I just read an old post and realized I never posted Austin's Valentine's Day gift on here.

I made him this AWESOME Diamondbacks blanket! I also made candy and put it in the box.

Umm, I'm alive. So many times I just don't blog for weeks at a time. I can come up with excuses (too busy, tired, homework), but what's the point? I'm here now.

I don't even know where to start. I have been very busy lately with school and work and friends. I never really noticed, but up until about a month ago I was a hermit. If I wasn't at work or school, I was at home. I never really went out or hung out with friends outside of school and the occasional weekend. I thought it was normal! I guess I didn't realize something was missing until something was there. I've been hanging out with the same two ladies from my last post often! I stay at their apartment about 2-3 nights a week. Sheesh! I need some girl time though. I even have my own travel sized shampoo and such in their bathroom. But ANYWAY.

Next week, I find out about my yearly bonus/raise at work. Since I've only worked there a year, this is my first one! I'm so excited and can't wait for the cash! ;) I already got to read my managers' reviews and they all had nothing but nice things to say about me. I was even basically promised a full time position there after I graduate! I was very flattered by this since full time jobs are hard to find!

One of my online classes ended last week (hooray!) and I'm keeping up with my other classes well. I have three tests tomorrow though, so maybe I shouldn't be blogging. Whoops!

Here's the worst part of today: Austin is now unreachable in Korea. I know so many people have it worse than me because their loved ones are in Iraq or Afghanistan, but it's just so hard to get used to. Thankfully he's in South Korea, and very far south of the North/South border. It's still difficult not being able to talk to him. He might be able to get wifi and access to email later on, but it's not certain. The suspense is killing me! I wish I knew a for sure answer.

WELL, now that I've successfully rambled for a few minutes, it's off to reading and studying!
