Life is Good Today

Let me just start by saying life is good lately. Like I've mentioned, I am liking my classes. That's a major plus. I'm feeling more involved at work. I've seen close friends more often lately. As hard as it can be, I am adjusting to Austin being in Japan surprisingly well. We don't get to Skype/FaceTime a lot, but we can text pretty much whenever we're both awake.
I went to the gym on Thursday for the first time in almost two years (embarrassing to admit!!) but it felt GREAT! I have a break in my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I'm going to try and go every week on those days. Two days isn't much, but it's a start and it's definitely more than nothing! Besides, Wii Fit makes up for it right? ;)
As I was watching a movie a few days ago, Death Cab for Cutie came on. I forgot how much I loved them and immediately went online and bought every album I didn't already  have. I have been listening to them for days and I am so excited. They make me happy!
At work, certain reviews for the people I work with have to be completed and submitted by the 15th of this month (tomorrow!). My boss told the people conducting the review that we needed them at my office no later than this Tuesday, because I have to check them for completeness, scan them and submit them. It takes a total of about 20 minutes for each one. There are 150 of them. I did a lot on Monday and Wednesday, but of course people didn't have ALL of them to me by Tuesday so I got the rest on Friday the 13th. Suiting right? I worked my normal 11-5 yesterday, then stayed until 8:30. I have to go back today to finish. Boooo. Last night wasn't too bad though! My co-worker Talia stayed with me! What a good friend :) We listened to Bieber, ordered pizza, got stuck in an elevator, and had the lights turned off on us! We freaked out and left earlier than planned, which is why I have to go back today. Oh well! Food, a friend, and time and a half pay makes it all the better!
Tonight, I'm going to a friend's house for a party, woo! I'm very excited to see people I haven't seen in a while. Plus, she's making cupcakes ;)
